Leora A. Kohls, 87, passed away Oct. 22, 2019. She was born July 13, 1932 to Reinhard AE Kohls and Selma Louise Melinda Schultz Kohls on the family farm in Lincoln County, Kan. 
Lee attended Liberty Bell and Limestone Ridge Country schools. She continued her education in Ellsworth grade and high school. She graduated high school with the class of 1950. Lee was confirmed in the Evangelical Lutheran Church on June 9,1946. Lee graduated with her registered nursing degree from Starmont-Vail school of Nursing Sept. 4,1953. She received her Bachelor of Science from NC State June 1,1976. She graduated from Wichita State with a Master of Nursing July 24,1981; she also has her M.S.N. Lee was employed by the Wichita-Sedgwick County Department of Community Health. 
She is predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Elda Pistora, Della Billings, Nina Borgstedter and Lois Seitz; brothers, Orville Kohls, Marian Kohls, Rolland Kohls; and nephew, Wayne Pistora. 
Lee is survived by her sister Deniece, Kohls Roth of Clay Center, Kan.; brother-in-laws, Marvin Billings of Topeka, Kan. and George Seitz of Broomfield, Colo. There are 22 surviving nieces and nephews. 
Memorial service is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Wichita, Kan.
