Frank W. Kroboth (1949-2024)
Frank W. Kroboth, 74, passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024, in Wichita, Kan. He was born Nov. 17, 1949, in Ellsworth, Kan., to Raymond and Frances (Kratky) Kroboth. Frank was a lifelong resident of Ellsworth County, where he pursued a career as a farmer and stockman. He was a devout member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. On July 14, 2000, he married Lori Potts in Emporia, Kan.
Frank is survived by his wife Lori, Wilson; son Dalton, Emporia; daughter Cassidy Kroboth, Wichita; sisters Patricia Urban (Jim), Salina, Kan., and Rita Brummer (Graig), Topeka, Kan.; nieces Amanda Brummer and Julia Wiebler (Austin), both of Topeka; and nephews Steven Urban and Kevin Urban of Salina and Matthew Brummer, Topeka. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jimmy Kroboth.
Visitation will be held from 1-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024, at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth. The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. and a vigil and rosary service will begin at 7 p.m.
A funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2024, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Ellsworth, followed by burial at Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.
