A born rover

When Oren Arms Curtis passed away on March 28, 1898, the editor of the Topeka State Journal described him as “a born rover.” The notice of his passing on a farm six miles from Newkirk, Okla., noted that although nearing 69 years of age, he had been planning a wagon trip through Arkansas for the coming summer.
