Two Marquette players, brothers Braden and Cade Young, play on the Little River team. Little River defeated Leoti-Wichita County, 70-58, for the title. Mary M. Barta, 82, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020 in Ellsworth. She was born March 9, 1938 in Gypsum, Kan. to Robert J. and Mayola (Beaty) Haley.
Dale George Grothusen, 101, originally of Ellsworth, died Dec. 7, 2020 in Salina. He was born Dec. 17, 1918 on a farm in Ellsworth County to William and Christine (Strella) Grothusen. He was a farmer and stockman, retiring in 2003.
John Kenneth Roraback, 74, of Lindsborg, passed away Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020.
He was born Aug. 7, 1946 in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Harold C. and Loretta (Friedman) Roraback.
Fay Laverne (Gregory) Pejsha, age 87, died Dec. 1, 2020 at her home in Jacksonville, Ark. Fay was born Jan. 24, 1933 in Ellsworth, Kan. to the late Wilmer A. and Olga (Schwartzel) Gregory.
Anita Stang, age 100 and former Victoria, Kan. resident died Monday, Nov. 30, 2020, at the Good Samaritan Society-Ellsworth Village, Ellsworth, Kan.
