Since December, Ellsworth has been without recycling services. Though the city didn’t have curbside recycling, it did have a drop-off point for recyclables that residents could utilize. When the receptacles were full, Ellsworth County Noxious Weed Department Director Teresa Shute, who also oversees the recycling program and landfill, would call Chris Behrens of CB Trucking to haul the refuse to Lincoln for processing.
