Above are photographs taken Aug. 7 during the Ellsworth Cowtown Fly-In and pancake breakfast at the Ellsworth Airport. According to event organizer Dale Weinhold, between 75 and 100 people took part in the event, with 20-25 airplanes. In addition to locals from Ellsworth, people flew in from Wichita, Hutchinson, Abilene, Beloit, Tipton, St. John, Larned and even Colorado.
