Each dog is supported by a team whose members have received training on handling the dogs.

Read moreEditor’s Note — This anonymous letter was submitted to the I-R from Joyce Kraus, daughter of the late Jerry Klema, who was responsible for the design of the Lighted Cross at the Excelsior Lutheran Church. The landmark cross was built by Wilson blacksmith Winslow Janda and a crew of volunteers and dedicated in 1976 on the church’s 90th anniversary. The letter was pushed under the door of the church.
