Pat Bender celebrating 90th birthday with a parade

Patricia "Pat" Bender will celebrate her 90th birthday Sept. 12.
To help her celebrate this milestone, her family has requested a Birthday Parade.
Plans are to meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the American Legion in Ellsworth. The parade will caravan past Pat's home from the west, then circle around the triangle park, back to the west on Prospect Street. You can then turn around and go again and again.
Signs, decorations, and cards are welcome. There will be a basket on Pat's driveway to receive cards. Or mail cards to 312 W. 3rd St.,Ellsworth, Kan., 67439.
