Scott Dustin Princ (1970-2022)

Scott Dustin Princ, formerly of Wilson, Kan., passed away on Sept. 30, 2022, at his home in Salina, Kan. at the age of 52. He was born on Aug. 31, 1970, in Ellsworth, Kan., to John and Barbara (Hlaus) Princ. He married Lynn (Valcorza) Princ in 2009 and they later divorced.

Scott grew up in Wilson and graduated from Wilson High School in 1989. After high school, he attended North Central Technical College in Beloit, Kan., taking farm mechanic and electronics classes. He later moved to Salina and worked in maintenance at Tony’s Pizza and he currently worked for Russell Stover Candies in Abilene, Kan.

Scott enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved Mesha dearly and treasured time spent with her taking her to fairs, carnivals and the farm.  

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Princ of Wilson, Kan.; step-daughter, Meshasky Valcorza of Salina; brother John Princ of Beloit, Kan.; and sister Anita Princ of Salina.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Princ.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home in Wilson at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, 2022.
