Matthew Everett Burwell

(1965-2019)

Matthew Everett Burwell, 54, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in Salina. He was born April 20, 1965 in Longview, Wash. to John, Sr. and Patricia (Pruner) Burwell.

Matthew is survived by his sons, Stephen of Ellsworth and Zachary of Colorado; step-daughters, Amber and Rachel of Salina; mother, Patricia McElroy of Kanopolis; brothers, John Burwell, Jr. (Tracy) of Bend, Ore., Lucas Burwell (Shelley Yarbrough) of Portland, Ore., and Aaron Burwell of Kanopolis; sisters, Wendy Stroede (Marc) of Kanopolis and Heidi Beal ( John) of Burns; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.
