Arthur Ray Breneman, 80, of Hedville, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024. He was born in Salina to Louis R. and Maxine (Baker) Breneman. He married Karolyn Akers on Jan. 31, 1965. He graduated Culver High School, was in the Army Reserve and worked at Co-op in Culver and Salina. He then worked for Ott Oil for over 25 years prior to purchasing the company with Troy Ditto in 2000, forming Fuel Unlimited.

In addition to his occupation, he had an addiction to cattle that he couldn’t quite kick. He was a cow and calf producer for many years, then, during his retirement, he was able to fulfill his lifelong dream of just being a “cow man.”

Art was a member of several local organizations: Rural Water District #4, Ell-Saline Booster Club, Ell-Saline Lions Club and Hedville Rural Fire Department.

Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Salina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Interim Hospice or Trinity United Methodist Church.
