Anna Verna Bath (1932-2020)

Anna Verna Bath, age 88, passed away on Oct. 11, 2020 at Columbine West Health Facility in Ft. Collins, Colo. of complications from a stroke.

She was born Jan. 19, 1932, in Wilson Kan., to JW Zvolanek and Hermina Houdek Zvolanek.

Anna graduated from Ellsworth High School in Ellsworth, Kan. in 1950.

On June 9, 1950, she married Norman V. Bath in Wilson, Kan., they were married for 51 years. They moved to Loveland, Colo. in 1963. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved the mountains and taking trips across the US to see the country. Anna spent many hours researching the genealogy of her family.

She is survived by her son, Mitchell Bath of Loma Linda, Calif.; daughters Ginger (Gary) Bowman of Loveland, Colo., and Roxanne Lucero of Ellsworth, Kan.

Also survived by grandchildren Eric (Celia) Bowman, Marcy (Dan) Welsh, David (Denise) Lucero, Cathrine Bernie and Andrew (Megan) Lucero; great-grandchildren Elena and Colin Bowman; Devon and Jayson Lucero; Asher Peace; Vincent, Ethan, Izabelle and Conner Bernie; Drew and Lily Lucero.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman; father JW Zvolanek; mother Hermina Zvolanek; brothers, Edward, James, Joe, Emil, George, Ernest and Richard Zvolanek; and sisters, Hermie Zvolanek, Libby Preston and Albina Pancake.

She loved her family and they loved her. Cremation has been conducted and there will be no services, as she requested.
