Peppiatts to celebrate 65 years of marriage

Fred and Vivian Peppiatt, Ellsworth, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary Aug. 10 with a family dinner. Fred Peppiatt and the former Vivian Barta were married Aug. 8, 1954 in Flander’s Chapel at the First Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth. The Peppiatts have four children, Valerie and husband, Mike Janssen of Geneseo; Nancy and husband, George Hysong of Ellsworth; John, deceased, and Mary (Miley) Peppiatt of Ellsworth and Andrew and Kay (Weishaar) Peppiatt of Salina. They have 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Both Fred and Vivian graduated from Ellsworth High School and are retired. They enjoy each other’s company on the family farm east of Ellsworth.
