Haralsons celebrate 65 years together
Charles and Hazel Haralson, Gainesville, Ga., celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary July 11.
Charles Haralson and Hazel Kubick were married July 9, 1955 at the First Presbyterian Church in Ellsworth, Kan.
Charles retired from the US Air Force after a 22 year career and then taught vocational auto-mechanics shop class at Johnson High School in Hall County Georgia for 20 plus years. He is now retired.
Hazel’s primary job title was mom and wife. She worked as a special education teaching assistant at both Johnson and North Hall High schools in Hall County Georgia. She is now retired and enjoys being spoiled and cared for by her loving husband. Charles and Hazel have
Charles and Hazel have five daughters: Marvie (Tommy) Forrester, Susan Nutting, Ricky ( Joanna} Crew Haralson, Wendy ( Jack) Taffar and Cindy Carlin; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Charles and Hazel celebrated with their children and immediate family members in Murrayville, Ga., with a reception, BBQ, video of their life story and a gift opening toast and cake celebration.
The celebration was hosted by their daughters. Family members who could not attend were able to video chat with Charles and Hazel during the event.
